Based in the heart of the City, The CItyUK is the industry led body representing UK based financial and related professional services. The industry they represent is a national asset, contributing 12% of the UK’s total economic output and employing over 2.4 million people, with two thirds of these jobs outside London across the country’s regions and nations.
The Corporate London Walk
As part of Mental Health Awareness week they requested a lunchtime walk, lasting for about 1½ hours in the area immediately next to their office. 14 colleagues joined us on the day as we explored the City’s Roman past, it’s medieval heritage and uncovered some of the hidden alleyways and courtyards – as well as taking the opportunity to take some exercise, chat to colleagues and to take some time away from the pressures of work.
