Corporate Walk Case Study
Virgin - Bespoke Corporate London Walk
Virgin
Virgin moved into new offices in Charlotte Street in what had formerly been Whitfield Studios.
The former studios, opened in 1965, originally owned by CBS and later by Sony Music, had been famous as the recording venue of choice for artists and bands as diverse as The Rolling Stones, Bing Crosby, Madonna, The Spice Girls, Amy Winehouse. and The Clash.
The studios will now be home for Virgin Red, Virgin Unite, Virgin StartUp, Virgin Limited Edition and Big Change.
Virgin were keen that staff working in this new office were familiar with the area in which they were to work and commissioned us to provide familiarisation walks in nearby Soho. The walks we provided inevitably made mention of the rich association this area has with the music industry ranging from Mozart to Queen and David Bowie, from Paul McCartney and Wings to Ronnie Scott and Jimi Hendrix as well as much more besides.
Virgin’s Director of Business Operations commented after the tour;
“Thank you so much for a really enjoyable tour - everyone said they found it so interesting.”
- Director of Business Operations
